Lakeview Historic Inn, one of Lakeside's finest accommodations, is open Year Round! This beautiful victorian inn overlooks Lakeside's Central Park with a beautiful view of Lake Erie. It is located in historic downtown Lakeside, adjacent to quaint shops and restaurants for your convenience. There are two common porches on the first floor. The one located on the North side of the inn has views of Lake Erie while the one in the back steps out onto a common patio area. The second floor veranda gives a picture perfect view of Central Park, Lake Erie, and downtown Lakeside. It also has access to a second floor open balcony. All common areas offer a great place to dine or relax. All suites are privately owned and have beautiful victorian decor, kitchenettes, private bath with shower, air conditioning and heat. Lakeside is known as the Chautauqua on Lake Erie! It is a private, gated community in northern Ohio right on the shores of Lake Erie. It was formed in 1873 by members of the Methodist Church and remains a Christian-affiliated vacation resort, however, it is open to all. It is one of only a few continuously operating independent Chautauquas that still thrive in the 21st century. It is located in Ottawa County near the town of Marblehead. There is no place quite like Lakeside. In the midst of a rapidly changing world there are sustaining values and traditions that will always exists. How to Find Lakeside

Lakeside, the Chautaqua on Lake Erie, is located at the Lake's western basin right in the heart of Ohio's vacationland. It is conveniently located between Cleveland and Toledo. It is easy to reach from the Ohio Turnpike (I-80/90) or off State Route 2. From State Route 2 take the Lakeside/Marblehead exit. Travel North on Ohio 269 for 2 miles. Turn right (East) on Ohio Route 163, go 3.5 miles. Turn left at the Lakeside South entrance. Lakeview Historic Inn is located at 162 Walnut Street.
